Maija Louekari’s HO-HOI! pattern chosen as finalist in Elle Deco International Design Awards

The editors of the German Elle Decoration magazine have chosen Maija Louekari’s HO-HOI! fabric print for the final of the Elle International Design Awards (EDIDA). Other finalists include works by such renowned designers as Antonio Citterio, Zaha Hadid and Philippe Starck. The purpose of the competition is to recognise "people and companies that bring style, beauty and ease to our lives”.

The editors of the 20 different editions of Elle Decoration worldwide have chosen their own candidates for the international final. The competition comprises ten categories: nine for products ranging from fabrics to furniture, and one for designer of the year. The global winners will be selected by a jury consisting of the chief editors of the 20 Elle Decoration editions.

The results of the final will be announced at the Milan Furniture Fair in April 2006.
